Bug Eyed at 181 Peach Wood Drive, Byron, Georgia.

Took my VWBug to Bug eyed because it blew a spark plug out of the cylinder head. Was assured they would fix it there. Wasn’t in a big hurry as it was not our only vehicle, but after a couple of weeks we called to find out he had to replace both cylinder heads. My husband told him to go ahead and do the job after he quoted an acceptable price. We waited another couple of weeks and when my husband called he told him to come and get the car because he couldn’t fix it. When we went to pick up the car the engine was totally torn apart and in a hundred pieces. Upon returning home with a shell of a car and boxes of parts, we discovered parts were missing, several main parts!! Gary said the missing parts were there and my husband picked them up, still missing parts after we had a mechanic look at the mess that Bug eyed made of my little car. They may have some unique parts for a VW but they are a rip off if you need service. I still cry when I look at my shell of a Bug and boxes of parts that used to be its engine!! Have you ever heard of a garage that tears your car apart and then calls you to come in and pick it up all torn apart without trying to fix it. We even asked if he could find us an engine and he said he couldn’t but would give my husband some phone numbers but didn’t. It makes me wonder why he wanted to get rid of my bug so fast?
Beware, don’t let them do service on your Bug!!
